FAQ: Have a Ball Together !

1. What are the dates of the campaign?

The campaign is planned for the month of October 2009 and will continue in November,   Media material will be available in the month of September 2009.
Bus ads will run from October 5th 2009 until October 30th 2009.

2.  Best Start has purchased some bus ads across Ontario. How many bus ads were purchased, in which cities and for what length of time

We purchased advertising in specific communities across the province. We made every effort to ensure coverage in all geographic regions and in as many communities as possible given our limited budget and market availability. Our ads will be placed on the back of the buses October 5th – 30th, 2009.

3. Some organizations are receiving free campaign materials. Which ones? Is it possible to order additional copies? If so, will there be a cost?

Every Ontario Early Years Centre, public health unit, Community Action Program for Children (CAPC), Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) and Aboriginal Head Start (AHS) in the province will receive a free package of campaign resource (click here for information on quantities to be distributed). Additional copies are available for a nominal fee by completing the order form.

4. Will our local library have the bookmarks?

We have offered the library bookmark promotion to all libraries in Ontario. Most libraries chose to participate but others had prior commitments during the month of October.

5. Will advertisements air on television or radio?

We are working with News Canada to produce and distribute media material in English and French (feature articles; video and radio clip) which will be available to print, radio and television stations across Canada.
